That is why I brought my family to the LCMS from the ELCA four months ago. Couldn't be happier.
Mr. CGG and I did the same thing 13 years ago. The blessings have been immeasurable. If anyone would have told me the changes in our life would have been like this, I would not have believed them.
The wonderful pastor we had tapped Mr. CGG and told him he was going to be an elder. Mr. CGG freaked out. I have no idea what happened that I don't know about but Mr. CGG is now an elder and it has changed his life. He takes his duties very seriously.
Our wonderful young pastor left and we have been in the process of calling a new pastor. The call committee has done a great job and they met last night with the new pastor we have called. Scriptures are gone over carefully to make sure everyone is in agreement on doctrine, etc. I feel very good about what they have done.
I crossed the same street 30 years ago.
