What you say about women is true.
But they should also be deaconesses.
That is very clearly and explicitly a BIBLICAL office, from the apostolic church.
There is no Scriptural bar from deaconesses, and there is no good reason not to have them either.
I don't have a problem with deaconesses, I don't think. I would just like to see women's options elevated and made more visible in the church. There are so many other ways to serve than being one of the elect few who are called to break the bread and bless the cup.
