That's Warren's point. The men of the movement today are not like the men who started the movement. Marlow is closer to the way they believed and behaved, so are you.
They were men that saw an erosion of the gospel and took up the cause to preserve it.
I think it (the gospel) is once again under attack, but now the people that claim the name "fundamentalists" are actually not in unity on many things.
Frankly, as I have heard, so is Rick Warren in his personal beliefs. So why is he hiding them and couching them when he gets a chance to speak about them publicly? Is he ashamed of his Lord?
