HOLY COW, NOW YOU ADMIT THAT THE BIBLE IS NOT TRANSLATED CORRECTLY IN ALL CASES.

If you cannot trust all the translations, how can you trust that all the edits of the original texts are correct? Are you certain that the Bishops in Rome didn't "correct" things to suit the local political situation? Were you there?

Have you seen the plates ?

Has anyone else ever seen the plates ... other than a handful of Mormons ?

And of that set which claim to have seen the plates ... could any of them, save Joseph, ... translate what was (or wasn't) on the plates ?

Looks to me like all Mormon belief hinges solely on Joseph Smith.

Hope he was right (and not pulling one of the biggest cons in history) ... or a lot of people have been suckered into a false system of beliefs.

There is a lot more evidence (of every sort) for the continuous integrity of the Bible ... than for writings which are based on your plates ... which less than a dozen ever claimed to have seen ... and which noone, except Joseph, ever claimed to have read.

Nope, there is personal revelation to each member. You know, like was promised in James?
