Even your side will agree that God gives us faith. The second verse makes that clear: through Jesus Christ we have gained access to faith into this grace. This does not specify any age of reason or being able to recite prayers. God changes our hearts; whether we follow in His footsteps, or reject God does not invalidate His gift.

It is invalidated in the sense that it is not used. We respond to God's gift of faith through our works of love. Otherwise, a faith without works is dead. It cannot save. How many times do I have to say that?

Regards

Whether we use or reject God's grace, His grace is always valid, jo. I am not sure what you are getting at. There is no time in our lives that we cannot turn to God. His grace is always there.
