The Spirit move sut to do good. But in order for us to lsten to Him, we must be willing, and not compelled, to do so.

Like Paul? How "willing" was he?

Yes, but in the previous verse it states, 'work out your own salvation with fear and trembling'.

Clearly, Christ being in us, we must yield to the Holy Spirit, if God is going to work through us.

That is where our will comes into effect, to sin or not sin, to do God's will or not.
