Church has several meanings, depending on the context. Your definition is correct, in the broadest sense.
I don't see "Word" as meaning the Church. Christ, then His Revelation (as noted in Scripture and Apostolic Tradition)

The ministers, pastors must preach the word and teach the faithful.
