But those who "know" they have been "saved" are Catholic can go on sinning boldly -- they know God will forgive them anyway knowing they can have a "priest" absolve them.
Do you have a problem with Jesus giving the power to forgive sins to the Apostles AFTER the Resurrection? Or did the Apostles make that up, too?
