If I didn't know that I was elected or saved then it wouldn't scare me in the least now would it? If I knew that I was elected then it wouldn't scare me simply because it doesn't matter.
Quite frankly, what does scare me is that there are people who pretend to be Christians for a variety of reasons. We certainly see them today, don't we? That scares me for such people corrupt the true institute of the church.
I'm sorry I still don't understand why it would scare you. Maybe it's the word scared that doesn't fit or make sense.
