Trying to determine whether a person is a Pelagius, a Semi-Pelagius, or an Arminian is next to impossible. Each of these theologies had particular doctrine behind them.

Here is a very good article on John Cassian and a contrast of his views against Augustine. Please note how Cassian's view is fairly close to what Orthodox (of course), Roman Catholics, many Protestants believe today.
