Don't worry about it.
It isn't anything that he can take away from me. I am proud of my experience in Iraq. I hope I helped the effort along the best I could. In some ways I miss it.
No one on here will take that away.
Considering how weak the rest of his arguments have been already on this thread, you guys have pretty well blown him up :)
Viacom is free to engage in such Christian bashing but they are bigots by their selective mocking. It is politically correct (under the liberal agenda) to mock and ridicule Christians. Such is life. Viacom is vile. CBS, MTV, Comedy Central (with The Daily Show).
I have no problem with pointing out their hate campaign.
Tell that to the Austrian jews...
Among the most eye-catching displays is a fairground shooting stand depicting a Jew and a ferocious dog. By hitting the target, shooters set off a mechanism that sets the dog on the Jew, who uses an umbrella in an attempt to fend off the attack.
There is a word for it Schadenfreude: "Pleasure derived from the misfortunes of others."
I know that! I told YOU about it in response to your inane post requesting jokes about Islam. Read my post! I said "We joke mostly about ourselves. Jews tell jew jokes. Blacks tell black jokes. Hispanics tell Hispanic jokes. Catholics tell Catholic jokes. My hunch is unless and until there is some Arab comic who tries it, Islam jokes mostly will fall flat... "
You'll need to show me these programs that air the stereotypes of these minorities. Or are those not for mass audience consumption?
Until you show me programs centered around Jews telling "Jews got it all wrong about religion" jokes DURING holy days, then you have not proven your case.
Where are the "Black People" comedy specials that mock the civil rights history during February?
They are on the same channel this show is on.
Really.
Zorak: Wow! Denis Leary! I've seen all your movies!
Denis Leary: Thank you, thank you.
Zorak: I didn't think they were very good. (Beat) What'd you think?
I think they pour thru the internet looking for something to be PO'd about. Then they bring it here for our entertainment.
Give up, Dog. They enjoy feeling snubbed and hurt. There's a word for THAT too :) (but can't think of it!)
Methinks that, beginning next season, "Bill Donohue" should become a recurring character on South Park. ;)
Heh... wouldn't surprise me :~D
works for me....
maybe they could have a Bill Donohue action doll that they take turns shooting BBs at or something....
kinda like when Stan and Kyle kept mutilating or melting JLO....
Take your meds, Princess . . . Jesus would want you to!
I mean it's just a tv show right? And we all know that tv, movies, books. etc have ZERO impact on the way people view events, people and institutions right? ;>
Wait a minute, I have to run what you've said through a deluded self-righteous bloviator of bombastic holier-than-thou Christianity filter.
I'll get back to you when it's finished processing.
oh, dear. Not again.
Are either of these jokes untrue?
Well, yeah...the part where he says Mary and Joseph slept together before they were married, meaning Jesus was a bastard, and all of Christendom has been lying about Jesus' parentage from day one.
Ed
If he says that, it's not in the quotes I posted.
I don't know what else he says... haven't watched the show (probably won't, I'm not all that fond of his personality)
