Exactly - Jesus did not seek out the most learned men in the country to be his apostles.
On the other hand, not having Jesus here with us in the flesh, a certain amount of education is useful in reading the bible.

A substantial amount of daily prayer time is a good habit to cultivate. Advent is a good time to renew and refresh the habit.
Sanctification comes from contact with the Divine, not from analysis of Him.
Good thought. Heart, soul and mind. My mind is always trying to force itself into the first position.
