Christ Jesus IS the Word of God. He is the Word made flesh. He never commanded that His words be written down. Why? Because He sent the Most Holy Spirit to ensure that the teachers would keep the Faith pure. The Bible is not the Word of God, it is a recording of the deeds of the True Word of God, Christ Jesus. To venerate the Bible as the authority over that of Christ and the Church He instituted is to fall into idolatry of the Bible.
I draw your attention to the following verse:
2Ti. 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching,
rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,
I will pray for you as you are lost
and you need to seek
Y'shua for your salvation.
If you do not trust in the Word of G-d
but instead trust in man, you are lost
as it says in the Holy Word of G-d!
Ps. 118:8 It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man.
Ps. 118:9 It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes.
b'shem Y'shua
Wrong.
"I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia;"
Revelation 1:19Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;
Revelation 2:1Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;
Revelation 2:8And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;
Revelation 2:12And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;
etc, etc, etc...
and finally,
Revelation 21:5And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
