Which is exactly what I expected to happen. Those most vocal and virulent will 'out' themselves and leave the priesthood and potentially the Church.

I believe as a Cardinal, Benedict XVI stated something to the effect that the Church, in preparation for the times to come, may be better being smaller and more true to its teachings than larger and without any compass.

I agree wholeheartedly.
