Substitute "Blacks" for "Women" and "colour" for "sex" and see if you can still be so positive that "Lewis nailed it."

Not all women are suited to be priests, any more than all men are. But to say NO women are suited to be priests -- basically because Jesus had a penis -- is nothing but a sad replay of the rubbish my grandparents in Alabama used (and my great-aunties still do) to prove that God did not intend Blacks to be in charge of anything. "They are children," "they need to be led and cared for", "White people were created and Black people evolved," they say with the same sincerity that Lewis exudes in the determined attempt to keep all the goodies for themselves.
One day the generation of those who judge others solely by their genitalia will have died off, and so will those who judge others solely by the colour of their skin. And in my opinion both the church and the world will be a much happier place when that day arrives.
