To fully grasp the situation here in Albany, I suggest you read AGONY IN ALBANY. This 10 part series was written in 1991, following pleas for help from catholics in this diocese.

I just read the first installment, where it was reported that Bishop Clark was good friends with Bishop Hubbard. What struck me most, other than the debauchery and corruption, was the trend of parish and school closings as well as the dwindling number of those in the religious community, both priest and nuns, in the Diocese of Albany during Hubbard's tenure. It mirrors what's been happening under Clark's tenure here in the Diocese of Rochester. I've heard of some of the stuff that's happened in Albany, but I didn't realize that Hubbard and Clark are buddies.

In another post you stated:

This is what all of us must do ... pray ... pray for a conversion of heart.

You are quite correct, though it's hard to not get depressed about this situation in our diocese. The numbers of closed churches, schools and dwindling religious community scream out that the intent of these bishops is to destroy our church from within.

Side-note: Bishop Clark is originally from the Albany diocese.

Yes. People like that (and I use the term loosely) want to destroy the Catholic church and turn it into they personal perverted play yard.
