Yeah, bad news for us in the Episcopal church.

ECUSA is dead. They are no how, no way Christian. Some of the comments from Swing, Robinson, Griswald and the like prove out my point.

Fixin to get ugly folks, but'cha know what? We conservatives are gonna be better off. We will remain with the Anglican communion, ECUSA will be aligned with their revisionist, universalist brethern. More power to'em.

Memo to Vicki Gene, soi dissant bishop:

Well, Vicki Gene, if we Catholics can offload our lavender disordered on ECUSA and that flips your switch, you are welcome to them. We will gladly take those Episcopalians, willing to adopt the Catholic Faith of your and their ancestors, Vicki, and who are willing to believe and live as Catholics.

Then: In this corner: Christianity and in Vicki's corner: lavender mania.

BTW, Vicki Gene, do you speak for any particular god? Moloch? Baal?

So according to him, the Pro-Homos are leaving our churh (Catholic) to join their sodomy churches. But at the same time, their conservatives are comming over to ours. I'm fine with that. The Catholic church will be stronger for it.

It is sad if people leave the fullness of truth that one finds in the Catholic Church, but it is appropriate if people do not subscribe to the entire deposit of faith, the teaching once delivered to the saints. Paul and the other apostolic epistle writers repeatedly talk about the need to shun false teachers and not hold communion with them.

If that chart is accurate, it is an amazing dropoff in just two years.

I noticed that too ("Pope Ratzinger"). "Pope Benedict" would have been more respectful and ecumenical, but I guess ECUSA is not interested in ecumenism and mutual respect any more.

Its a win-win situation. The liberal Anglican church can rub their hands with glee as the get a bigger 'market share' and the catholics win by having the moral high ground, as usual. Cardinal Ratzinger put forward an idea that the church should shrink back to its core base. That would 'prune' off all the dodgey child molestors and john kerry type catholics who are a danger to the faith.

Well, there is one glaring omission, and that is the break line. The base of the lines is not the zero point, but rather 760,000. The effect is to make a drop that is significant, but a rather small percentage of all Anglican worshippers look like a highe percentage drop. It's not "inaccurate," but it does violate standard form in illustrating only textually and not graphically that the bars do not descend all the way to zero.
