It's just such a ding-dong statement. Kids could do homework at desks in their bedrooms.

It's revealing because it shows the level of reasoning (sic) that people consider acceptable ... sort of like the woman in New York who conceived triplets and had two of them killed in the womb, because she was afraid she'd have to shop at discount stores. I guess everyone around them is too "tolerant" to tell them how dumb they sound.
