Fr. Amorth makes many great points including his comments concerning the "hijacking" of Vatican II, such as how certain of the liturgical texts were intended by Vatican II to be revised rather than rewritten.

I think especially of his complaints concerning the new benedictionary and the rewriting of prayers which get rid of the standard exorcisms. These differences are very clear for one who has participated in Baptisms per the Byzantine rite vs the Latin Rite. There is always an exorcism performed in the Byzantine Rite where the whole congregation faces the back of the Church (i.e. West) to renounce Satan not once, but three times (everything is done in '3's in the B. rite). Also, by way of another example of sacramental blessings, in the blessing of the mother after birth, though I don't think the Latin Rite has this custom.

Also interesting was that story of the "8th" sacrament - I now have a new code name for "ignorance"!

It will be interesting to see how Pope Benedict XVI proceeds with the corrective action that Fr. Amorth desires.

In the traditional rite I believe there is.
