I hadn't seen that. I would hope he meant homosexuals active in a sinful lifestyle. The inclination can't be sinful, just the activity.

I hadn't seen that either, I don't recall such, and it seems rather out of character. (I just checked my posting history and didn't find it either -- whole cloth?) Your interpretation would seem to fit better, though I still don't recall anything close to such a statement.
