[Prophet in the wilderness]

Thank you for that word for today.
It's strange, my brother and I drove passed a church today, and on the sign outside, it said something to the effect " When we pray, God hears us " .
But, at this time in my life, even for years, has been nothing but silence from GOD.
A few years ago, ( almost 3 years ago ) I was outside my work on lunch break and before I came inside, I asked God something, and for a answer.
30 mins later after I came back inside to go back to work, this other Christian came up to me and said to me that he got this impression to tell me something that GOD had impressed on his heart to tell me.
He told me that GOD has a blessing for me( and it was the very thing I prayed about )>
That was amazing, just before I came back inside from my lunch break, I asked GOD for something, and 30 mins later GOD sent one of my co-workers ( who is a Christian ) a answer to my prayer, and I said to myself ( wow, that was a fast answer to my prayer.
The thing is ? that is almost 3 years ago, and I don't see nothing yet, of and evidence of that blessing that GOD promised.
