Thanks for this article. I love that shrine. Haven't been there in a couple of years. It's a nice destination--I think I'll take a ride out next Sunday. The leaves should be at their peak color by then.
The new statue is gorgeous.

That's a beautiful statue of Mary, unlike that other one I saw on FR today. This is respectful and has a feeling of devotion.
