Ping!
Nice post.
It is theological hash.
Our people defend the Jews from the other strains of chr*stendom and are willing to grant the Jews authority on any number of issues (such as the very dates of the holidays, which depend on Jewish Tradition). Yet there seems to be a sort of mental block when it comes to giving a hearing to Jewish claims that J*sus was not the messiah. How tragic.
May G-d remove our blindness soon. And let us take comfort in the fact that this situation is somehow part of G-d's plan.
1Co 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed
It's the same event as this:
Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded (-the trumpet); and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
As pointed out in the article, all prophetic and major events occur on the holy days that God created. For example, the holy spirit first came upon man at Pentecost. This is no coincidence, but part of God's prophetic plan. God made his holy days to help us understand them.
Too cool! Lets get this show on the road!
Ping.
And another. Hope you don't mind.
Get the popcorn. ;)
Who was David referring to, in Psalm 110:1, "The Lord said unto My Lord"?
Where is David's throne now? and who sits on it?
.Whom did Jesus send to be with us, to comfort us, and is this, "God with us", or Immanuel?
Micah 5:2, Jesus was born at Bethlehem (meaning House of Bread); Zechariah 12:10, Jesus was pierced by a sword, Zechariah 13:6, He bears the wounds in His hands, ;
Zec 9:9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.
All the prophets up to, and including John, foretold of the Messiah, so yes, a diligent study of the Tanach will show you just Who the Messiah is.
Is this article saying the Rapture will be this coming weekend? (I'm not complaining, but there are one or two things I haven't done yet . . .) |
Y'all could look at this posting that I did a long time ago --
http://www.freerepublic.com/forum/a39e032ca390d.htm
It was titled -- "The Seven Festivals Of The Messiah"
It's very interesting, in the respect that these "festivals" are supposed to be fulfilled by Jesus Christ and that the first few have been fulfilled, while from the Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah) forward -- they have not yet.
It's a very interesting read.

Here are some informational web pages for the Jewish calendar. This may be of interest to people. It's something I posted back in 2000.
