This is the problem I have with ecumenicalism. It reduces the message down to "God loves you. Go out and be happy." Any effort to understand God beyond this context is erased by one group or another.

The problem isn't the socialists or feminists who have infiltrated the churches. True believers should simply boot them out the door. But instead we partner with them in their socialist agendas thinking harmony will further the cause of Christ. Kind of like Gen 6 all over again.

Here's a real-life example of what you're talking about. Name the church or organization that had this motto in 2004:

"Life is good. With God, it's better."
