Any insight into who will be attending from the other faith groups?
"Any insight into who will be attending from the other faith groups?"
Not the Orthodox, since I doubt we come under the rubric "other faith groups".
"The Catholic Church allows eucharistic sharing with some Eastern Christian churches, but not with Anglicans and Protestants under most circumstances."
The Roman Church does indeed do this and full well knows how inappropriate Orthodoxy views this as being. In fact, in extending the invitation to Orthodox Christians to inter-communion, it tells those Orthodox Christians that Orthodoxy does not approve of this (in fact it is forbidden), but Rome does it anyway. Lovely way for a sister church, which pleads, "Trust us, Trust us; we're not after your people!" to act.
Here's a promise. If Rome establishes intercommunion with the "ecclesial assemblies" of protestantism, it can kiss reunion with the East good-bye.
NYer,
I understand Bp Trautperson(man) will be. Does he count?
(Sarcasm off)
