Total Depravity does not mean that man is completely evil - i.e. depraved men can love their families. Rather, the idea is that no element of man's nature (mind, body, spirit, will) is free from the taint of sin. A subtle yet significant difference.

Yes. I've been corrected. I've repented. :O)

As an aside I've been meditating on jokus remarks and believe that I have erred in my views on this post here. God is in control working all things for His good pleasure. While what I stated may or may not be true, it is pious and self-righteous for me to look outside to anyone. I can only look at myself and address my own "logs".
