There seems to be a lot of mean-spiritedness in this forum. I am a proudly traditional Catholic, yet I suggest that we pray for homosexuals while at the same time offering our religious assent to Benedict's instruction.
Please: show examples of "mean-spiritedness."
Frankly, the meanest people I've met are generally queers.
We will pray for the disordered, but we have been praying for this for so long, that to actually see it happen is a joyous occasion.
