Interesting blog - News and comment on Catholic church closings throughout the world.

Do they also keep track of church openings?

There you go again, NY'er. Being positive. T'heck do you think you are, a Christian?

Don't cha know that negatavism attracts converts...Don't cha know that everything, I mean everything, is bad and fast getting worse and that it is all the fault of Vatican Two, Pope John Paul II and women wearing pants.

When I find a Church opening, I post it, normally headed "good news from...." The problem is finding them. Also often one Church has been sacrificed to open another, sometimes because the claim is that the old Church is too small. I suspect also it is often/ sometimes because the old Church is in a traditional style of architecture. And I certainly praised the Archbishop of Bamberg, Germany for saying that he was not going to close any Churches in his Diocese. The other side of my blog that is definitely not negative is the promotion of devotions and saints.

It is that Kaspar will not cross the line. I guess that he knows Kaspar and that Kaspar, unlike Kueng. is not in love with his own ideas.
