There is no doubt that New Orleans was spared the direct hit everyone expected, and I know that was Our Blessed Mother's doing.

I just logged on and saw the storm was downgraded from a Category 5 to a 2. That is nothing short of miraculous. New Orleans was spared by prayer.

It was downgraded to a 2 today after it moved through southeastern Louisiana. However, it was weaker when it made landfall, down to Cat.4 from 5.
