Floriduh Voter had a serious car accident this afternoon on 66th St. by Hospice and is lucky to be alive. FV's car went airborne after being hit and there were no brakes. She flew north onto a median and the car wouldn't stop - something told her to put the car in park and to take the key out. FV ended up in southward oncoming traffic facing north. Good Samaritans directed traffic around her car. (FV lost downforce when the impact took out the back windshield). The guy who hit FV was a half block south with the cops and paramedics. FV travelled a half a block, sometimes in mid-air. It was a miracle. Her car didn't make it but FV's going to take it easy for awhile. She REFUSED to sign a Living Will at the er. That was the first document shoved in her face.
For those following Terri Schiavo stories, this is very near the Hospice where Terri died.
I have no details whatsoever at this time except what I included here, will just add them if I get them or others as it comes in. FV could sure use some prayers and support.

You guessed right! Today's events were too tragic for me to sit idly by. I still miss Terri, I don't know what we would do without Floriduh Voter.

They should work when the car comes back down though. Did you think the car flew through air? I was under the impression it merely went airborn. I don't think it sprouted wings, do you?

I offer my most fervent prayers for her (here it is early, early morning) and will pray throughout the day with my children who are here with me. We will pray for her at Mass this morning.

Good grief! Praying for you FV and thanks to God that it wasn't worse for you.
I think he definitely calls that area a home away from home and is really getting to work here on earth.
That's what I thought. It tried to get her, but HE wouldn't let it happen.
Are there really any coincidences? FV was out front and a connection to us all in trying to help Terri, then this happens in the area of the hospice.
