I always thought that John Wayne did a much better job personifying "cool" than McQueen or anyone else.

I guess each one had their own style in their own time, we don't see that talent anymore.
John Wayne was actually being asked to run for President by the GOP one time.
I guess John Wayne was more known, as THE MAN or the DUKE.
