Geez...won't everyone want to spend eternity with these folks.
Fred Phelps' church, Westboro Baptist, is an "independent" Baptist church. I don't think this "church" is part of any denomination, or association, or anything like that. No outside religious authority could crack down on Phelps or kick him out - he's already struck out on his own. Frankly, I think Phelps' group is more akin to a cult than a church.
Without doubt. Anyone confusing this guy for real Christians walking with Christ, seriously doesn't know the heart of Jesus Christ. Jesus never did anything like this guy. I can see why liberals would love him, he's the perfect tool of Satan.

My condolences to you and your pastor. It's people like this that give all of us Christians a bad reputation.
Phelps is not a Christian, nor are those who protest with him. They are skanks. To dishonor those who died in service to our country is beyond the pale and deserves our strongest condemnation.
