The glory of the Assumption shines so brightly for so many millions of Christians, only because the darkness of sin surrounding it is so invasive, so palpable. We can hope to share its glory only by the Father’s grace, through Mary’s intercession, and by an obedience, painful, simple and direct, like hers.
