"Or a bit like starting a women at quarterback for the New England Pats?"

Yes, except, that's merely highly implausible.

The priestess bishops involved must love having this referred to as illicit, because it sounds like they actually have a connection to the Catholic Church, and that this event actually pertains to the Catholic priesthood.

They seem to be re-invoking the "invisible" church. Now where have we heard that argument before?

"This is not about a break with the Catholic Church because deep down I remain in spiritual communion with the universal community."

Who the heck is the "Universal Community" and why is the RC Church being drug in with it in this article???? Am I a part of this "Universal Community", or does it only pertain to those who remain in communion, "deep down inside."

Have the "bishops" ever gone on the record as to which Church they actually belong? I would be genuinely interested in learning about their view of their "church." Is it not the case that they have in fact founded their own "church," but are clinging to the RC Church because their own "church" has no members. With a dozen or so "bishops' and "priestesses," but no church members, this movement must be the most hierarchical and top heavy religious group in the world.
