Thank you for your reply and for sharing your views!

But the main problem I see in reinstituting an Old Testament temple is the Levitical Priesthood. The heritage records were lost in 70AD and only the sons of Aaron are allowed to serve in the Holy of Holies. While some Jews may "feel" like they are priests (according to the article), unless I'm mistaken nobody has actual records tracing their ancestors back to Aaron as required.

The Levi lineage has been established according to this article: Kohanim Forever

Otherwise there would be no preparations for a priesthood, the ashes of the Red Heifer, or the Ark of the Covenant (hidden in Washington, DC) among other things as discussed in your articles.

The following articles suggests two plausible locations for the ark - one in Ethiopa and the other buried deep in the Temple Mount: The Lost Ark of the Covenant

Concerning the pretext for building the temple ... my musings (not leadings in the Spirit) are that the Third Temple will be built as such when Jerusalem becomes an "international city" allowing for the coexistence of the three Abrahamic religions. Then again, it is possible it might be built as something else - a museum or research facility - and converted to the actual Third Temple.

It's speculation either way...

Wonderful. Thanks for the links.

Hadn't read all that.

Much agree, as usual.

I keep wanting the business of the ark beneath Golgatha to come true. Though, I've read all the detractors and don't know what to believe on that score. I'm sure God has it all worked out to be revealed IN HIS TIME.
