I would rather see the list for most influential for all time. Recent books are ok - they probably rate higher b/c more folks are familiar with them at the point the survey was taken. Similar to "favorite movie" and "favorite president" polls are taken.
At any rate, the books of the Bible should top that list.
I agree. I think when people read the question, they thought, "What NEW book in the last three years influenced me to do something NEW?"
