Throw in the normal slack morals of the Protestant Churches and the sin that they excuse and encourage, ...

Like homosexuality and pedophilia ?

Good point I am glad you have brought it up. Have you noticed the Episcopalian Church lately? I don't recall the Catholic Church endorsing same sex unions. Have you heard the news out of England, their priests can take advantage of the new law that allows same sex unions but they have to remain chaste? //wink wink// They are having problems with Protestant ministers fiddling with the little boys as well and they have had married Priest for 500 years. Lutheran ministers in Germany, Denmark even in this country. Jim Baker of Jim and Tammy fame was involved in more than the Jesicia Hann if you get my drift. I am sure you will understand me if I suggest you need to do a full "Swagart".

Let us see the list continues. Just those churches promoting abortion include Episcopalian Church USA, Presbyterian Church USA, United Methodist Church, Friends (aka Quakers) as well as some others including various flavors of Baptist. Even in the Southern Baptist there was a movement to allow Gay ministers and same sex unions. Here locally there was a Protestant preacher arrested and convicted of prostitution (he was serving on his knees for a nominal fee you might say) The Church voted to keep him which resulted in a new article that included his arrest photo. He looked just like Flip Wilson as Geraldine. It seems knowledge of the situation they were willing to forgive but the photo was a public embarrassment too great to be born. The homosexuality was fine the cross dressing too much.

I have more examples if you like, at least our doctrine is sound and will carry us through the bad sheppards but what will be left of your doctrine when your bad sheppards are finished shredding the Scripture? As long as man can twist Scripture to mean what he WILLS it to mean, you will never be safe. Regardless what a bad Bishop or even a bad Pope does if he does not have the Ancient teaching of the Church, and Scripture on his side it is an obligation of the Faithful to resist his efforts. It is not a comfortable situation I grant you but it is a boat that is water tight. Yours has holes that will force you to be forever be bailing.
