So Jesus has to be this eternal offering in Heaven rather than High priest seated at the Majesty on High and Mary gets to be the distributrix of all graces. It seems like Mary's job is more fun.
He's both, not "rather than".
"So Jesus has to be this eternal offering in Heaven rather than High priest seated at the Majesty on High and Mary gets to be the distributrix of all graces."
If God is Love, then what Jesus is doing is exactly that - the giving of one's self to the other. Once you understand that Christianity is about giving and not getting, you'll be making major advances in being another Christ. "Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ" says Paul. Does Paul's job seem fun? His resume of beatings and stoning, etc., don't look fun. And yet...he has joy. The paradox of Christianity. Ah, now, Jesus' words "unless you pick up your cross daily, you cannot be my disciple" begins to make sense. Love. And that is what Christ does continuously in heaven. Romans 8 and Hebrews both note that Christ is our advocate in the PRESENT tense, not one time. He continues to offer Himself for us. NOW!
