Have not scene much evidence of that here in the UK. There may have been some cult appeal for the young when JPII went walkabout but why wait for his death to capitalise on this? Entering a UK seminary (are there any left?) would be certain death for anyone serious and devout. In order to put bums on seats, the 'right' candidate will be trendy, intellectually dim and eager to suck up to his superiors as they promote their latest heresy. Not only should parents not send their children to modern Catholic schools, according to Bishop Sheen, but young men should not be sent to modern seminaries!
