My experience is that loving God does produce works.

Amen! THAT is the result of being "saved." Grace is the ticket, but the love for God produces works. That's what earns 'crowns.' Even those who are weak in the Faith are still saved, but they won't have many crowns.

You are referring to the dragon (as the serpent) aren't you?

The Lady of the Night: She seeks to seduce your soul!

Wasn't that a Lee Aaron song? Oh, that was the Lady of the Darkest Night. Must've been her sister.

exculpatory references

Who does it get out of trouble?

(The word you're looking for is "explanatory.")

Carry on!

No, Jewish Bibles are and since Catholic Bibles contain a myriad of translations, they aren't the be all and end all of "purity" either. Maybe all of us should just wait for the DEAD SEA SCROLLS to be finally made public. ;^)

And that's all I have to say to any of you.

I didn't say anything about a Catholic Bible. I would never use one of them, because I'm not a Catholic. I was simply saying that the King James Bible was not the "original." So, don't use it as "the" final reference. That's all I was saying.

None of us know whether or not we are going to heaven.

The apostle John said "THAT YOU MAY KNOW THAT YOU HAVE ETERNAL LIFE". What part of eternal life "ends"? It's eternal.

God has promised His faithfulness to those who have called on His Name.

Anyway again I think you're making a big mistake burdening yourself with the constant (unbiblical) fear that you'll lose your salvation, but I doubt that you'll change your position once you have so much invested in it.
