To prevent consecrated hosts from being stolen, three small suggestions:

1) reinstall altar rails

2) only the priest touches the the consecrated host

3) communion only received on the tongue

Yesterday CNN ran a note at the bottom of the screen telling of a priest who denied The Body of Christ to 150 of the Sash sinners. The location for this defense of The Holy Eucharist had already passed across the screen, when I read the above notation.
