"Those of us who seem to be on the outside throwing rocks at your walls would suggest that faith in the walls is not faith in Jesus at all"
If I may interject? You are making a false dichotomy. The Church is the Body of Christ. The Church is the Bride of Christ. The Church is one with Christ. Jesus promised to protect it and send His Spirit to guide it to all truth. Catholics consider that respectfully submitting to the teachings of the Church are, in effect, submitting to Christ, the Head of the Church. Our faith is in Christ. At least that what the Church tirelessly teaches. Perhaps some Catholics get overenthusiastic about the Church heirarchy proper, but the Church itself says that they are the servants of Christ.

Please do sir.

Couldn't agree more to this point and I haven't forgotten your previous posting manner.

I believe that of many Catholics. I believe many Catholics to be Christians and members of the body of Christ. But Catholics are just plain wrong to blindly believe what they are told just as Jesus kept point out in the gospels. Time and time again he admonished them for not knowing the scriptures. Time and time again we see warnings to Christians that false teachers will enter and just so we'd all know which side had the false teachers, they were described by their fruit. "forbidding to marry and commanding to abstain from meats" comes to mind.
Our faith is in Christ.
Here I'm starting to disagree because your faith

I guess our agreement blew up previously with the trusting the church = trusting Christ.
