Was not Aquinas's cosmology officially incorporated into the theology and teaching of the RCC?

I asked Aquinasfan on an unrelated thread and he said no, not even his Trinitarian theology.

St. Thomas' teachings don't have any special formal status in the Church, but his teachings are derived from Scripture, Tradition and dogmatic teaching, and are generally highly regarded, since he is the preeminent Doctor of the Church. His teachings naturally often correspond with Church doctrine.

I can't comment very much on his cosmological arguments. My understanding is that he wrote extensively on cosmology, and did not believe that the eternal existence of the universe could be proven or disproven through reason alone.
