Saint Peter converted 3,000 of his fellow Jews with a single sermon exhorting them to repent and be baptized for the remission of their sins.

Yes, and you should learn something from this. St. Peter didn't convert them by ranting about altar rails, communion in the hand, kneelers, the Latin Mass, and a million or so other obsessive compulsions of yours.

You are the only one ranting here. Why do you have such a deep hatred of Tradition?

St. Peter didn't convert them either with useless apologies that never do anything but make the demand for more apologies.

St. Peter never left them with the impression that they were okay still waiting for the Messiah on their own and the Christians would be okay with Jesus.

St.Peter of course tried to pretend to syncretize his actions with those of the Jews. But a bishop took him to task and by all accounts of the temperament of that bishop, no Pope has probably been chewed out in public worse since. Despite the fact that many of them have deserved it worse than St. Peter.

It was that same bishop that spoke the Word of God himself when he said, "If WE or any other even an Angel of light preach any Gospel other than the one we've given, Flee from them."
