Other than being a liberal cleric, is there any real legitimate reason to "defrock" Mahony (eg. his lousy aesthetics in designing L.A.'s Cathedral of the Angels is not a good excuse!).

Amen and right on! I'll be very happy hold the door open for Benedict XVI while he applies the left-foot-of-fellowship-out-the-church-house-door! Then Benedict XVI needs to do likewise to the carpetbagger McCarrick just across the Potomac from where I live. Emerilize 'em! BAM!
