Humility Is A Weapon

Carla Rickard

March 16 2005

Live Word as Recorded.

There has been and is going on now a shift.

thank you Lord.

there is coming a shift ...

we are in it.

More power is being made available More Authority.

You can't see it, but you can feel it There is oh the lack of words ... Help me Jesus

The fight is heavy for some now, light for others but nevertheless...

there is an increase.

The war that is increasing is not against flesh but one that will require the flesh to lay down and die quickly. It won't be hard long and drawn out to die this way. It will be as you giving up the ghost. No one shall take your life, but you shall give it up willingly just as Jesus did on the cross.

When the flesh arises, you will put it down. Here is the power.

For when you lay it down, quickly, without thought of self you will find your Life

for it will be hidden in the Resurrection, In the Christ Hidden in Christ is Life

There is an anointing available to those who will not allow pride to stand in their way fighting to keep alive " rights" and "egos" . But die quickly! Kill it quickly !

Kill this sacred calf quickly For this is the sacrifice most pleasing to the Lord

is an obedient and willing heart to love the brethren laying down one's life for another However even greater than this is based on the first command

and that is to lay our lives down for the Messiah. Love Him First! That he may use us quickly when he needs hands to touch, eyes to see

What I am seeing here is this:

A church that has false humility a humility that is forced, unnatural.

What the Lord desires from us is that this way of life be more than just second nature, but to be our nature

I am seeing the Lord show me that he wants us to be able to quickly let go of the hot potato of offense that so easily gets tossed into our hands from another

Does it matter?

I see the Lord laughing and saying " who cares?

Who cares if you are right

Who cares if you are wrong?

I do not care of these things"

I care of only dead flesh, and resurrected Life

Do you care if your brother really thinks so much of you?

Then you have fallen into the trap of fear of man

Do not allow others to twist the scripture of being no offense to anyone

That is impossible

for if you walk in My Ways,

in My Word

You will offend

Not because of some inherit thing in yourselves

but by the fact My Word is the discerned of the thoughts and hearts of a man

Offense comes from the Word that is spoken

When a heart is hiding from me

But all is naked before me

Lay down and die!

or your life will be taken from you violently

It is easy to give over to Messiah

than to kick against the pricks

There is something the Lord is speaking now, ...Offense brings death.

Freedom, Liberty... brings life Allow yourselves to be free to be right, to be wrong, to be happy, to be sad. Give yourselves permission to be free

The Truth does not SET you free, it MAKES you free

It is a process. I haven't asked things of man that is impossible to accomplish

I have given my Word so that you may learn the process and get there

Is it easier to forgive someone who has hurt you?

Or is it easier to forgive yourself for hurting another/?

I am the Great Psychologist

Counsel is MINE says the Lord

I have Hidden my Counsel in the hearts of men and women.

draw on it. Do not be afraid to use your minds. For I have given you a mind to think with. I have given you the Mind of Christ, an ANOINTED MIND.

You can think but now, with a renewed mind. You do not think old ways

You think with the ANOINTED MIND sanctified to My Ways.

Do not be afraid to think. Its ok to think. For I think.

I consider

I weigh

I judge

I have given you My Word

My Spirit

And you have what you need.

Now get what you lack

EXPERIENCE!

Which is the knowing of the knowledge because now you have practical experience! You have tested the Word and it will prove TRUE

Its ok to think

Its ok to question

Questioning doesn't mean rebellion, unless you desire to rebel

Questioning ... get wisdom

The Lord is telling me go back to humility

False humility is the kind that is not instantaneous. It is not a look, it is not a feeling. Humility is knowing how much power you wield yet let no man know it

that it becomes a threat and burden to him Its knowing all things, yet not throwing it around to impress man

Its knowing the truth, yet being accused of a lie

and speaking nothing; being content in knowing, even if no one else knows.

That humility is God given,

God ordained

and God maintained

This is the humble of heart that the Lord draws close to

This, as only God can know, is a mercifully and wonderfully affirming word to me in a very trying time.

I think it has merit for any serious Christian.

God seems to see fit to crush some of us to powder and blow us to the four winds at sub-atomic levels toward His Brokenness. It's not always obvious to others. But it's easily recognized by those who've been there--usually they've been there repeatedly. And, there's something of increased intimacy with Jesus through such fiery furnaces.

But "fun" is not a good description of such a stripping process.

Nevertheless, a high quality humility tends to result within those who persevere, overcome, hold on, stand. It may not always match some idiot's view of humility but it has the finger prints of Christ's humility all over it, at some level, at least.

And, it tends to make loving easier, more authentic and, like that quality of humility--more authentically spontaneous, effortless. And it's the loving like Jesus that I really treasure.

May this 'word' from The Lord draw you closer to Him and more into His Humility.

And, for many who genuinely seek God, it may well be a vigorous kick in the behind.

Well I have a message for the Church that is along the same lines. It is a hard message, and not a soft one. It is meat, not milk.

But it is this, Humble yourselves, and delight in Gods Laws so that you may find mercy in the day of the Lord's wrath.

The doctrine that so many cling to that we are free from the law by Christ's blood is a heresy.

Jesus Himself said "I came not to abolish the Law, but the fulfill it."

We are free from the condemnation of the Law, but those who disdain God's Laws, do not know Him.

Humble yourself, and seek God's law, that you may find mercy in the day of his Wrath. For that day is coming on America, and it is coming soon.

For those who say that God will never cut America asunder because It is a Christian Nation, I say this, it is NOT a Christian Nation. The ten commandments have been removed, the Bible removed from the schools, and the freedom of speech of Christians outlawed. But then, I found on a dollar bill the statement, "In God we trust."

Money is now Americas God. America has been judged and found wanting.

Take it or leave it, this is the message I have for the Church.

Prepare your hearts, abandon your fire-excape theology, and seek God's face in humility. You will need grace for the days ahead, find it in God's Laws. Too long the Church has been lawless.

Plenty of good meat in your post.

Thanks much.

BTW, what do you know of the typical gestalt assumptions, impressions, traditions

re PASSOVER

and the prophetic sorts of things that are believed to cluster or be more apt to cluster around that time?

Blessings,

"But then, I found on a dollar bill the statement, 'In God we trust.'"

Coincidence: today, 4/22 is when that phrase was authorized to be put on money [1864, IIRC].

The idea of being "humble" in the sight of the Lord is foreign to today's church, IMO. This subject was topic of discussion on Wednesday night at our church. We, the body of Christ, need to truly repent of our arrogance and pride, and sincerely humble ourselves before Him.

James 4:1-10
1 Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members?
2 You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask.
3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.
4 Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
5 Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, "The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously"?
6 But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: "God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble."
7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
9 Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom.
10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.

I strongly agree.

Rick Joyner writes of a vision, maybe a series of such,

where believers HAD to be cloaked in humility--not just to survive but to wage effective warfare spiritually. I do believe that day is coming.

Thanks much for your potent comment.

The most humble man I know is my husband. I wish I were a bit--a lot--more humble than I am. but it's a learning process which goes all too slow! You are the second most humble, but when you're number two, you try harder (smile)!!

You're gonna bring me to tears, again!

It's encouraging in a trying time that someone--especially you--hereon, notices!

So many rel forum folks seem convinced of the opposite about me! An interesting phenomenon.

What a wonderful thing to be able to say that about hubby. Will look forward to being able to meet him.

Thanks tons for your prayers.

I always appreciate the fact that you are willing to be wrong (you so seldom are--smile) and you ARE humble. Can't be proud of that now, can we (grin). Keep up the good work. I love your posts.

THANKS TONS for your kind words.

Have a lot of experience at being wrong.

But God has shown me some things I now have to accept as truth, too. When God burns something into one's bone marrow, there's no going back.

YOU ARE A MUCH NEEDED ENCOURAGEMENT. Thanks.

I used to have a mug I would give certain people, and which I wish they still made. "Don't let the turkeys get you down." Stay humble, stay armed in the Word, and keep your eyes on God and not man or you will stumble over their foolishness. Love, Mxxx

Very well said.

Thanks tons.

The Tsunami Bible code looks interesting to me but I haven't had a chance to study it much, yet.
