As I was driving to work the other night on my trek from Boulder to Ft. Collins a fairly large two sided 'advertising' sign in front of a church, Faith Community Lutheran, in Longmont caught my eye. Upon first glance at about 55 mph I thought it was an advertisement for 'Mountain Dew' and about a 1/2 mile down the road my natural curiosity caused me to turn around for a closer look. The sign said "Experience what Jesus can Dew for you", along with the hours for the church services. Get this... the color scheme was exactly that of a 'Mountain Dew' soda can.
Check out the photo:
The church website is at:

And apparently this is just another creative sign that has become a tradition for this church. See their photo album here:

It appears that the church has come up with a creative way of attracting the 'Mountain Dew generation'.
"Free Coffee and Do-Nots"
and of course
"no Jesus no Peace" "Know Jesus Know Peace"
Those are great!
Mountain Dew is gonna love having to decide whether or not to sue a band of goofy Christian teenagers (I hope!) for trademark infringement.
