You are right, if there is indeed a conflict. And for some folks, I think you are right about indifferentism. But I don't think you're right about Mother Teresa. For her, I think it was a matter of different tactics reaching the same end. Certainly, she saw herself as a missionary, and she was responsible for many conversions.
As I said, personal experience helped bring me to this position. Having been targeted for "missionary outreach" by fundamentalists on several occasions, I came away unimpressed, to say the least.
I don't know for a fact that that is an accurate quote of Mother Teresa's, from what I understand, it has been disputed. It was posted here by someone else.
