Can you perceive a gravity wave from the origin of the universe? Can we measure the background radiation from the Big Bang? ... But until we could measure it, was it not there?

Not only were those things there before we perceived them, I imagine there is a WHOLE bunch of other things in our little slice of the universe that we have yet to uncover...

But, has anyone actually observed the Big Bang? Did the Big Bang actually take place, or is it more accurate to say that at this point in time, given the information and instrumentality that we have, we think a Big Bang took place in the distant past...

I'm not saying there was no Big Bang, what I am saying is that it's a logical conclusion given our current set of data...which is always subject to change over time...
