Right,.....read the N.T. book of Hebrews

(It's better than the Talmud.)

The real question is why do so-called Christians fail to celebrate Passover

And instead celebrate the Pagan holiday created by the first Leader of the Roman church,

The Pagan Emperor Constantine.

Constantine as the world leader convened the Council at Nice, which made it anathema

to celebrate Passover and instead created the Pagan feast of Easter.

HaSatan must be pleased.

Jesus was a Jew therefore he would have observed Jewish Holidays.

The only day Christians are taught to observe is the Lord's day, the first day of the week. On each Lord's day, we are to commemorate the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. There is no need for additional, special "Christian holidays".

This is because there has been some difficulty in determining what Christians should celebrate without appearing to be going back to what Christ grew His word out
from. The Judeo-Christian dilemma.

We have the disciples of Christ and then we clearly have the Disciples of Paul. Christians are the the ones that follow the words and example of Christ.

I like the scriptures in I Cor. 5: 6 Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? 7Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us. 8Therefore LET US KEEP THE FEAST, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

God's word in the Bible is good enough for me. His word says keep the feast of unleavened bread - that's what I am going to do.

And this is in the NEW TESTAMENT.

Interesting ommission:

Jesus went to the Temple on the Feast of the Dedication of the Temple. That shows that he was observing a feast only prescribed in what most Protestants incorrectly call "The Apocrypha." (There's a good reason he had special devotion for it... it was his birthday, Dec. 25th)

2 Maccabees describes how the Jews offered atonement for their comrades who had fallen in battle while committing sin. They collected the war loot and offered it to the priests of the Temple, who rededicated the Temple. And on Dec. 25th, the Spirit of the Living God came among Men to dwell in the Temple.

John 10:22-30

"...And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter. And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch. Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly. Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any [man] pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave [them] me, is greater than all; and no [man] is able to pluck [them] out of my Father's hand. I and [my] Father are one."

If we are to truly follow Christ, shouldn't we consider which religious days He observed?

If that were the case we’d all be observant Jews.

If you are Jewish you observe the Old Testament. If you are Christian you observe the New Testament. Jesus was ultimate sacrifice so for Christians we place emphasis on that - his birth, death and resurrection. NO Old Testament feast surpasses that. Nor would I celebrate Passover over Easter. It simply wouldn't make sense.

In reading the Bible, I came across some striking scriptures in Zech. 14.

16And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. 17And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, on them there will be no rain. 18If the family of Egypt will not come up and enter in, they shall have no rain; they shall receive the plague with which the LORD strikes the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. 19This shall be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.

These scriptures say to me that there is coming a time when all of mankind will be keeping the Feast of Tabernacles. If they don't, they will get no rain. With no rain, I imagine they would start keeping the Feast of Tabernacles quickly, so they would get rain again.
